You'll support the Growing Managers across all aspects of crop production, learning how a large-scale commercial growing operation works while developing your own technical knowledge and responsibility.

Day to day, you'll be:

Monitoring irrigation, EC, pH, drain and drip water performance
Using and managing PRIVA
Crop walking and monitoring plant health
Implementing pest and disease management programmes
Assisting with biological controls and crop protection
Supporting in and overseeing planting programmes
Monitoring crop quality and environmental conditions
Maintaining growing records and supporting traceability requirementsWorking closely with colleagues across growing, production and planning teams and as you develop, you'll take on greater responsibility for decision-making, crop performance and planning activities.

What do I need?

A horticulture, agriculture or related qualification.
Ideally, you'll have commercial growing experience.
A genuine interest in crop production and commercial horticulture
PA1 and PA6 are desirable, but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
