Assistant Financial Accountant

Description:

CMA Recruitment Group are working with a reputable business based in Whiteley, Hampshire, to help them recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role due to business growth and will report into the Financial Reporting Manager. 

What will the Assistant Financial Accountant role involve:

Completing the monthly management accounts and bookkeeping.
Accounts preparation.
Preparation of corporation tax returns and related computations.
Preparation of self-assessment returns and non-resident company returns.
Providing accounting support to clients.
Preparation of VAT Returns.
A working knowledge of Excel is required.
Assisting with managing client relationships with HM Revenue & Customs.
Suitable candidate for the Assistant Financial Accountant:

The Assistant Accountant will have strong academics either a finance degree or studying towards an accountancy qualification (AAT/ACCA/ACA).
Good attention to detail and eager to learn.
The suitable candidate will have good communication skills in order to build internal and external relationships.
