We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our fast-paced and friendly Finance Department on a permanent basis. This role would suit a candidate with a degree in accounting (or similar qualification) who is seeking to attain a professional qualification in accounting and would enjoy working with others in a fast-paced and friendly team. Your key responsibilities include supporting the close of the month-end accounting ledgers through the posting of journals, performing balance sheet reconciliations & other financial control activities, and supporting daily cash and bank record-keeping.

DAS offers support of the successful candidate’s professional training as part of the Apprenticeship Scheme.

About You

We are keen to hear from candidates with a degree in Accounting (or similar qualification) with strong MS Excel skills. You will have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Working as part of a highly experienced and supportive Finance Department, we will provide support and coaching for those who are keen to develop their skills and experience.
