The Assistant Financial Controller provides financial information and analysis to managers of allocated cost centres and companies, ensuring information is prepared, accurate and available on a timely basis. Duties also include but are not limited to supporting the Financial Controllers in the provision of financial information, for example monitoring cost centre performance, identifying areas for improvement, preparing journals and reconciliations for monthly reports, assisting reforecasting, preparing annual budgets, and liaising with Sales and Purchase Ledger to ensure transactions are processed accurately and timely.
To be considered for the role you will be qualified with CIMA/ACCA or have a suitable level of experience in a similar role. You will be proficient in the use of Excel and Word, work to high standards and be confident presenting information to Managers and Directors.
