Location: Wiltshire
We are working with a specialist family-run ecology consultancy based in Wiltshire, sitting on the Salisbury Plain who are looking for an Assistant Ecologist to join their team. As an Assistant Ecologist you'll receive:
£24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working, with 3 days per week in the office
Excellent progression opportunities As an Assistant Ecologist your duties will be:
Providing ecological support to a varied range of projects across different sectors from individual householders architects, landowners, government and utilities
Planning and coordinating field surveys
Undertaking field surveys and managing survey data
Undertaking mapping using QGIS To be considered for the Assistant Ecologist position, you will need:
A degree in a relevant area, such as Ecology, Biology or Zoology
Proven experience within ecological consultancy
Willingness to complete field surveys and travel to different sites
