Description:
We are actively looking for an Assistant Director of Mechanical and Electrical join a housing association in the London area on a permanent basis. As the Assistant Director of Mechanical and Electrical, you will be:
Leading the organisation across the electrical and mechanical compliance areas, effectively contributing to business plans, budget management and identifying ways in which the service can be improved
Responsible for ensuring that the organisation meets statutory and regulatory compliance regulations through the maintenance and inspection contracts, ensuring high levels of compliance and customer satisfaction
Developing new policies and procedures, whilst identifying new methods of technology to support the service delivery, ensuring value for money whilst effectively setting and managing budgets
Working with other senior management in the process of procuring new contracts
Experience / Qualifications:
Gas / Electrical / Mechanical background
Experience working in a senior management position within the public sector
Relevant degree and/or professional qualification
Strong knowledge and understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks in relation to M&E
Experience working with external stakeholders and developing strong client relationships
