Assistant Design Manager / Project Coordinator Required
We’re looking to appoint an Engineer / Coordinator who’s looking to progress into Design Management. Design Management sits above the detailed design team to ensure deadlines are met, you’ll effectively oversee the design process and ensure all required information is provided when clients require.
This is a great opportunity for an Engineer / Coordinator who’s looking to come away from Detailed design and start working towards the organization of the design process. You’ll oversee RIBA stages 1-5, hand holding the client through the initial consultation and estimation stages through to completion of design and handover to operations. A pivotal player in the success of any project!
Our client are a principal contractor. Their purpose is to consult, design and install sustainable energy solutions for clients within the public sector. Projects will take the form of Schools, Hospitals & Public Buildings, they’ll install Heat Pumps and Energy Centres as form of clean energy, decarbonsing communities.
This role would be an ideal suit to a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer or Mechanical Engineer who’s either wanting to take a step up / move away from detailed design.
Assistant Design Manager / Project Coordinator Package:
£40,000 Base Salary

Assistant Design Manager / Project Coordinator Requirements:
* Some M&E / Building Services / Construction related experience
* Exposure to Design Management or Project Coordination
* 2/3 years experience within the above relevant sectors
