EXPERIENCED TRANSPORT MANAGER OR AMBITIOUS SUPERVISOR REQUIRED TO ASSIT IN THE MANAGEMENT OF A CHALLENGING WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING OPERATION
JOB TITLE: Assistant Depot Transport Manager - Waste & Recycling Services Delivery
SALARY: £28-35,000 DOE plus Bonus

ROLE: Assistant Depot Transport Manager - Waste & Recycling Services Delivery
You will be responsible for the day to day management of a team of drivers and the routing for a fleet of waste vehicles
Give work instructions and monitor the performance of drivers, i.e. briefing/debriefing during course of working day.
You will also be involved with the admin aspects of the position, ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed.
You will ensure the vehicles and drivers work within all transport legislation
Ensure that all health and safety policies are complied with.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Assistant Depot Transport Manager - Waste & Recycling Services Delivery
Ideally you will have a background in waste and recycling
National CPC desirable but not necessary provided you have a good understanding of driver hours
Experience planning for and managing drivers essential
You will have customer service and complaints handling experience
IOSH/NEBOSH also considered an advantage
You will have excellent planning skills and a good understanding of compliance.
You will have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
