We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority who are recruiting for an Assistant Corporate Procurement Manager on a temporary contract, initially for 3 months with opportunity.

The position is due to start immediately and the day rate of pay is negotiable based on experience.

The ideal candidate will be CIPS qualified or QBE, with experience working on Housing Stock within a procurement team.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

* Working in line PCR 2015 regulations and demonstrating an understanding of working on OJEU contracts

* Review PNC orders for Housing Stock including (not limited to): Housing stock, aids and adaptation, facilities, stock condition surveyors, heating systems

* Reviewing expiring contracts and liaise with managers to populate procurement templates with specifications

* Uploading on to the e-tendering system and manage correct coding

* Analyse the spend data against award notification and in line with procurement compliance

* Complete administrative duties such as compiling award notification forms and uploading to contracts register

* Assessing current pipelines and liaising with legal teams

Experience required:

* Experience required in Social Housing / Local Government Setting

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

* PCR 2015 regulation

* OJEU tenders
