Assistant Centre Manager

Description:

We are working on behalf of our client, one of the UK’s leading automotive service centres and tyre retailers with multiple nationwide locations, to recruit an experienced Assistant Centre Manager for their facility in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. This Assistant Centre Manager position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to lead operations within a dynamic and expanding company.

Benefits:

Salary between £34,000 and £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience 
Performance-related bonus scheme earning approximately £3,600 annually
Overtime available and paid at standard rates
32 days annual leave including bank holidays, plus an additional day for your birthday

Consistent 42.5-hour working week over five days, including alternate Saturdays (8:00am-4:00pm) with a day off in the week when working a SaturdayDuties of an Assistant Centre Manager:

Assist the Centre Manager in day-to-day operations of the depot
Support the workshop team mechanically when required
Contribute toward achieving centre targets and key performance indicators
Manage stock levels and stock maintenance
Ensure all work complies with company policies and safety standards
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
Oversee team performance and foster a positive team culture
Maximise sales and control operational costs
Support and sometimes carry out vehicle repairs and mechanical support activitiesRequirements of an Assistant Centre Manager:

Proven supervisory experience within the automotive or retail sector
Relevant technical or mechanical knowledge of vehicles
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team
Customer-focused approach with excellent service delivery skills
Demonstrable success in achieving sales targets and managing costs
Knowledge of stock management and operational procedures
UK driving licence with minimal points
