London (Hybrid Working)
Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months

Positioned within the commercial team, you will be right in the centre of a fast paced team. You’ll get to develop your Buying career in this fast-paced role. As an Assistant Buyer in our Appliances team, you will support our Senior Buyer across a wide range of exciting products within Small Kitchen Appliances and work with major suppliers.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is in a Buying role, passionate, organised & ambitious and wants to develop their career within Buying in a key category for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Helping to manage supplier relationships in line with the category strategy
Selecting and negotiating product ranges and pricing
Keeping tabs on the competition so we can set competitive prices
Analysing trading performance and recommending actions to drive our business
Key skills:
Experience of being part of a Buying function (as an Assistant Buyer or Buying Administrator) essential
Experience in an electrical background preferable
Great working knowledge of technical products
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Organised, analytical and numerate with good judgment
Strong commercial awareness and a sense of customer needs
