Are you AAT qualified or studying towards a professional accounts’ qualification?
Do you have experience of assisting with Monthly Management Accounts?

Our client is an award-winning engineering company that operates within a niche market. Providing specialist services to a large global customer base.
Due to continued growth and success, they are now looking to strengthen their Finance team
THE ROLE:
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be required to
* Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts
* Creating Journals, Prepayments and Accruals
* Balance Sheet reconciliation, Nominal Ledger and Control Accounts
* Working alongside the Finance Manager with VAT returns and Year End processes
THE PERSON:
* Adaptable with a strong work ethic you will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
* Experience of Sage accounts would be beneficial but not essential.
* At least 18 months experience in a key finance role with the ability to manage a heavy and varied workload.
You will ideally be AAT qualified or working towards a qualification,
