Role: Assistant Accountant
Location: Exeter
Salary: £25-40k DOE
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Accountant. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial management and accounting processes.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the accounts function
* Banking and reconciliation
* Card accounts
* Petty cash management
* Cash flow reports
* Purchase Ledger oversight
* Preparation of monthly payroll for both salaried and hourly paid staff
* Nominal control accounts
* Preparation of monthly financial and management accounts
Key Requirements:
* General bookkeeping experience (Essential)
* Experience in responsibilities 1-5 listed above (Essential)
* Relevant qualifications: AAT level 3 or higher (Desirable)
* Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting software (Desirable)
* Good IT skills and proficiency in spreadsheets (Essential)
