Description:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Central Cambridge who are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on a 6-month contract. The role will be full-time, and our client is able to offer a hybrid working model. To be successful, you will experience in a similar, and experience within a not-for-profit organisation would be advantageous.
Typical duties include:
* Producing monthly reports
* Processing balance sheet reconciliations
* Supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors where necessary
* Assisting with yearend accounts and preparing statutory accounts
* Reviewing cash flow forecasts and providing financial insight when required
* Ensuring records are maintained and updated accurately
* Assisting with any adhoc duties to support the wider finance team
You will have:
* Minimum AAT Level 4
* Ability to manage your own workload effectively
* Excellent communication, and the ability to liaise with colleagues to support the wider finance function
* Strong technical skillset
