An excellent career opportunity has arisen for a progressive Assistant Accountant to join a growing technology company in Elstree. This is a great role which will offer the candidate the opportunity to complete their studies towards CIMA, ACCA or AAT.
Duties:
* Support in preparing and posting monthly accruals, prepayments and general ledger journals.
* Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Provide proactive support on the preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Timely and accurate bank reconciliations, ledgers and control accounts.
* Supporting the monthly payroll preparation, as required.
* Dealing with ad-hoc queries from across the business, as required
Skills required:
* Previous experience in supporting management accounts
* Currently studying for a relevant finance qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA).
* Strong IT and communication skills
