I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a busy and growing firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers in Chester. This is a busy and growing practice and they are looking for someone who is part or fully qualified at AAT level to join their first-class team. Working as part of the team you will support customers with all aspects of accountancy.
Responsibilities include:
Reporting to the director and senior manager
Preparing limited company accounts and corporation tax returns including dealing with clients queries with support from two qualified ACAs
Possible audit work if the person possesses the right experience (not obligatory)
Possible independent examination and charity accounts work if the person possesses the right experience (not obligatory)
VAT return preparation
Dealing with companies house issues - winding companies and issue of shares up etc
Management accounts preparation
Resolving HMRC queries/issues
Personal tax return preparation for the period of October to JanuaryQualifications & Experience:
Experience:
Demonstrable experience in a firm of UK accountants required
Experienced in meeting clients face to face and providing high levels of customer servicesBenefits:
