Are you looking for a role where you can be involved in a variety of duties and progress long term? CMA is partnering with a fast growth construction business based in Havant on an exclusive basis to recruit a newly created role of Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will report into the Financial Controller.
What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?
Daily postings to the bank;
Bank reconciliation;
Balance sheet reconciliation;
Ownership of credit control function;
Assisting with purchase ledger;
Month end including fixed assets, general ledger and prepayments/accruals;
Ad hoc duties.
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:
AAT/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience;
Sage experience would be advantageous but not essential;
Growth mindset and ability to grow with the role as the organisation grows.
