Berry Recruitment is collaborating with one of our well known clients to find an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with the office located in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Role: Assistant Accountant
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Hybrid - dependind on experience
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:
Preparation and processing of weekly/monthly payroll.
Supporting in month-end, year-end, and Management Accounts processes.
Preparation of VAT returns and reconciliation of financial transactions.
Working closely with the management to achieve financial targets.
The ideal Assistant Accountant will possess:
Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar role.
Proficient in using Xero system.
Capability to work under pressure with good attention to detail.
Ability to use your own initiative and think outside of the box.
