Assistant Accountant - Goole – £27,000 - £30,000
This highly reputable, fast growing, owner-managed SME business located in Goole are looking for a proactive Assistant Accountant, due to internal promotion. You will be part of a friendly team in a business that has seen an extended period of growth and who has an exceptional reputation in their market. The role and tasks will develop for the right candidate as the business has significant growth plans.

Responsibilities will include:
Assist Management Accountant with Monthly MI Pack where required
Maintenance of the Company Fixed Assets Register
Preparation of Finance Audit File for external accountants
Daily reconciliation of Invoice Discounting Facility
Processing daily bank transactions and cashflow input
Daily Bank reconciliations for multiple currencies
Quarterly VAT returns
Agent commission and Customer rebate calculation
Organising Hire Purchase agreements when required
Factory efficiency reporting
Trade loan submissions
Aged creditors and debtor’s ledger maintenance
Required Skills & Experience:
AAT Qualified or studying later stages
IT Literate including excel and ERP systems
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
