The Role:
Silcom Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dynamic and growing company with sites based in Kidderminster and Stourbridge. In search of a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join their finance team, contributing to the success of both sites.
Responsibilities & Requirements of an Assistant Accountant:
Assist in the monthly and annual production of accounts for three sites.
Report directly to the Site Accountant responsible for three sites.
Become familiar with the company's good practice guide.
Accurately and promptly handle daily cashiering and banking tasks.
Assist in the collection of debts related to vehicles, aftersales, and manufacturers.
Help process purchase invoices.
Aid in reconciling bank statements and other balance sheet accounts.
Contribute to the completion of dealer composites.
Monitor and process vehicle bonus payments.
Review vehicle profits as needed.
Process payments within the authorised limit.
Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Salary:
Basic starting salary of £30,000!
Monday to Friday hours [40 hours per week].
[8:00am – 4:00pm] or [8:30am – 4:30pm] flexible around your lunch break!!
