Assistant Accountant
Hyde/Marple/Dukinfield
An opportunity due to expansion has become available for a construction business to add to their Financial team an accountant to manage theor prtfoli of schemes, supply chain and contractors.
The business is privatley owned and a secure one with turnover secured for the next 3 years with business development happening for the future. The businiess has a manager to work with as well as a trainee and purchase ledger person
Assistant Accountant responsibilities;
* Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
* Cash flow forecasting
* Prepare the daily bank reconciliations,
* Assist in the management and running of invoicing.
* Take part in the monthly invoicing cycle.
* Managing of balance sheet items.
* Reviewing P&L cost items on a regular basis to develop understanding of costings.
* Effectively prepare monthly cost schedules.
* Liaising with operational teams.
* General ledger reconciliations.
* Assisting credit control when required.
* Other ad hoc projects as required by the business.
