We have an exciting new opportunity for a Asset Manager to join our team based in Bristol. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week. In return, you will receive a salary of £52,203 per annum.

About our Asset Manager role:

The role requires you to support Brighter Places in implementing their ‘Great Homes and Partnerships Strategy’, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. You'll lead proactive management of our homes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care and value for money. Additionally, you will oversee effective program management to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction from your team.

Key Responsibilities as our Asset Manager:

Assisting in formulating and implementing the Asset Management Strategy to optimise asset utilisation.

Participating in the setting of annual and future maintenance budgets.

Maintaining stock condition, values and assets data.

Coordinating with the Development team to ensure new assets meet specified standards.

Ensuring effective engagement, liaison and communication with our customers, ensuring their needs and views are taken into account.

Staying updated on legislation and best practices, suggesting policy changes to fulfil obligations.

Supporting our ‘Out of Hours’ service in line with the Out of Hours Policy.

Setting, achieving and being accountable for team performance targets

About our Asset Manager:

A higher education qualification (e.g. degree) and/or relevant construction, maintenance or building related professional qualification/relevant experience.

In-depth understanding and experience of creating and implementing a rolling 5 year maintenance programme, and 30 year business plan forecasts.

Experience in social housing and/or professional qualifications is desirable.

In-depth understanding and experience of creating and implementing a rolling 5 year maintenance programme, and 30 year business plan forecasts.

Experience of providing excellent customer service.

Experience of property related Asset Project Management.

Practical knowledge of asbestos, CDM Regulations and monitoring Safe Systems of Working.

Experience of risk identification and management.
