Overview.

As Asset Manager, you will ensure the client's assets provide value to their core estate. This will be achieved by the development, deployment, management, and continual improvement of an asset management framework that works across the CBRE and client terms. The result will be a rich knowledge base that will enable the client to lower risk and cost of ownership and meet their strategic and tactical business objectives.

You will manage a large estate covering multiple buildings ranging from data centres, corporate and distribution. You will also support the transformation and change management of this contract collaborating with a dedicated team specially built for the management of assets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Develop, deploy, communicate, and manage the asset management processes and data within the CBRE team, client organisation and supply chain.

Develop and define the data standards required to deliver client outcomes.

Understand asset and asset management risk and ensure all parties have a balanced view of risk.

Ensure the asset register is kept up to date and meets the data standard requirements.

Develop and manage the building surveying programme on a risk-based approach to inform the asset register and lifecycle process.

Manage the lifecycle plan creation and output to inform capital project programmes.

Create recommendations for the maintenance strategy, ensuring the right intervention for an asset is based on risk, condition, and performance.

Align work activity with the estate strategy and client business objectives.

Create reporting and analytical capability to interrogate all estate and asset management data to benchmark, learn about and improve the cost / performance / risk balance.

Use data and analysis output for scenario modelling and to enable effective decision making.

Ensure data management and change control protocols are in place and audited.

Train, develop and up-skill all parties that are involved in meeting the client's objectives with relevant asset management skills.

Assess and continually improve the asset management system.

Manage a team to ensure efficiency and high performance.

What we are looking for

Experience in Asset Management with an engineering background.

Demonstrable experience in creating value from Asset Management

Significant experience within a complex and mature Asset Management environment

Proven change management in business process driven culture change

Experience of co-ordinating building projects from conception to final sign off.

Good knowledge and experience of Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality systems

Experience in budget planning and delivery.

Experience in successfully managing both in-house and sub-contractors within agreed financial and time constraints.

Sound knowledge of Health & Safety Management, Current Building Regulations, CDM regulations.

Excellent leadership and motivational skills.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and forward plan to avoid incidents or issues.

Good commercial and financial acumen.

Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
