Are you experienced in maintenance planning, and improving equipment reliability? If so this could we the role for you. We have a day-based, Monday to Friday opportunity at Refresco, Kegworth for a Maintenance Planner. You will be joining a forward-thinking engineering team within a great working environment. You will be mainly focusing on maintenance planning while working alongside your colleagues to improve reliability across site.

Refresco UK are part of the Refresco Group a multi-national independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites across Europe, North America, and Australia in 15 countries. In the UK we have 6 sites. We work with all the large UK supermarkets plus many well-known branded drinks producers.

Maintenance Planner – Internally known as Asset Care Manager

(Maintenance planning and Reliability) - Kegworth, J25 off the M1

Days, Monday – Friday 38 hours per week - 7am – 3:30pm, (2:30pm on Fridays)

General description of the role as Maintenance Planner:

The Maintenance Planner / Asset Care Manager is responsible for the asset care of all production equipment installed across 10 lines within the site. Providing optimum balance on asset utilisation, cost control, reliability, maintenance planning, maintenance execution, knowledge / skill deployment and staff development, stock inventory management and spares. The role works effectively with all production functions supporting project work, upgrades and modifications, process control. Planning corrective and reactive maintenance across the site, delivering business requirements, on time and in budget. Provides a direct report into the engineering team in relation to quality, health & safety, and production issues.

Key responsibilities of the role:

Schedule day to day reactive work and assign the correct amount of resource.
Monitoring and review on performance and downtime.
Risk assessments.
Handover meetings each morning to understand output from the day before.
To regularly observe and discuss equipment performance and make recommendations for activities to improve this. Implement an asset fault escalation procedure to ensure that technical issues are raised with key stakeholders in a timely manner and appropriate resource applied to major breakdowns.
Working closely with the storeman to order parts and materials.
Attend weekly S&OP planned downtime meetings to agree PM days and required engineering intervention times.
Assist with then implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance
Support the development asset maintenance plans within the engineering budget
To maintain an asset obsolescence, register and develop plans to mitigate risks.
Promote and support Refresco quality & safety standards, focusing on continuous improvement whilst demonstrating the company values and behaviors.
Manage asset care activities on the High-speed bottling equipment and hot fill sachet lines.
Improving best practices with other sites and implementing them.
To support the sites continuous improvement and Capital projects agenda.  

About you:

To be successful as an asset care manager at Refresco, you will need to be an experienced maintenance engineer with maintenance planning and reliability experience. Ideally, you will be from an FMCG or similar industry.

Experienced knowledge of SAP PM
IT literate – Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good analytical and numeric ability
IOSH qualification (Preferred)
Intermediate Food Hygiene (Preferred)
COSHH (Preferred)
