Assembly Technician
Alexander Associates are working with a groundbreaking company in the space sector.
Our client has seen an increase in operational activities over the last year, resulting in the expansion of their current team and an exciting move to larger workshop facilities.
They are now looking for a number of Assembly Technicians to maintain the high standards of our workshop activities, contributing to both the construction and testing phases of their projects.
Key responsibilities of an Assembly Technician:
* Perform technical tasks expertly, maintaining, and operating complex machinery
* Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues that arise during the production process, applying a methodical approach to troubleshooting
* Contribute to the ongoing refinement of workshop processes and practices, aiming for efficiency and excellence in all aspects of production
* Monitor and maintain the quality of work produced, ensuring that it meets aerospace engineering standards
* Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures
Desired skills and experience of an Assembly Technician:
* Experience in an engineering workshop or production environment, preferably within the aerospace or automotive sector
* Strong understanding of health and safety practices in an engineering environment, with experience in conducting risk assessments
* Good analytical and troubleshooting abilities
* Skilled in managing complex engineering tasks and operating specialised machinery
