They now require a dedicated Assembly Technician who will be responsible for configuring their machine-learning powered plug sockets, as well as picking, packing and shipping. Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician
* Configuration of plug sockets: programming the smart sockets with wifi codes via a PC
* Screwing assemblies together using small components
* Wiring and securing small wiring harnesses together
* Picking, packing and shipping
* Cycle counts/keeping track of stock
Skills/Attributes Required in the Assembly Technician
* Aptitude for practical, hands-on work with small components
* Comfortable with technology (and ideally with an interest in smart technology)
* Ability to identify assembly issues when they arise
* Health and Safety awareness
* Intermediate skills on Excel
* Highly numerate
* Good communication, able to think for themselves and a high level of common sense
* Someone who wants to grow with the team and be a true team player
