Description:
I am currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join a defence manufacturer on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components using hand tools in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and work from engineering drawings.
- Use hand tools
- Thread cutting using hand tools
- Follow assembly instructions to complete products accurately
- Use of STTE
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in assembly or a similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools
- Knowledge of basic principles of engineering
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team or unsupervised.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
