Location: Chertsey (No public transport access, own transport required)

Are you a passionate and detail-oriented leader seeking to build a high-performing team in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Our growing company is searching for a motivated Assembly Team Leader (Day Shift) to join our ranks!
In this leadership role, you'll play a vital part in shaping our team's success. You'll provide clear direction and inspire your team to achieve production goals while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will be overseeing the assembly of High Precision and Optical assembly work, if you have experience in this field it will help your application.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead with Vision: Motivate and coach your team to consistently deliver exceptional results in a collaborative and fast-paced environment (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM).
Technical Expertise: Possess strong electro-mechanical skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure flawless product assembly.
Quality Assurance Champion: Implement processes and conduct thorough quality control checks to maintain consistent product excellence.
Inventory Management Master: Oversee the efficient organization of components, manage stock levels, and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
Empowerment Through Training: Train new team members on assembly procedures, quality control methods, and best practices.
Process Optimization Guru: Analyze and continuously improve assembly processes for increased efficiency and quality.
Communication Catalyst: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, effectively communicating goals and expectations.
Data & Documentation Dynamo: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, quality control checks, and team performance metrics.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a team leader or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment (assembly experience preferred).
Leadership Excellence: Exceptional attention to detail and a relentless commitment to quality, coupled with proven ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Technical Know-How: Strong electro-mechanical skills and proficiency with assembly tools and equipment.
Training & Development Pro: A demonstrated ability to effectively train and develop others.
Organizational Superpower: Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
Communication Champion: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and collaboration within the team.
Computer Savvy: Computer literacy for documentation, record-keeping, and inventory management.
