Are you skilled at precision work? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Are you ready to join a dynamic team? Look no further! We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Spray Operative to join our thriving team in Tiptree, Essex (CO5 0JA).
Your duties include furniture assembly, shrink wrapping, and following production schedules and drawings diligently. You will complete the necessary paperwork and operate the equipment correctly. As a polisher, you will prepare surfaces for finishing, while as a sprayer, you will work in our state of the art Spray Booth, to finish products to our clients’ specification. You will also handle materials safely throughout the assembly process, ensuring items are clean and damage-free.
There will be ad-hoc tasks from time to times as well as working additional hours during busy periods, and supporting other departments as needed, all while fostering a culture of creativity and positivity in the workplace.
As an Assembly Spray Operative, you will prioritise health and safety by adhering to company policies, actively engaging in workplace safety management, and identifying/reporting risks promptly. You will ensure that you adhere to Company requirements such as the use of personal protective equipment and maintain cleanliness and organisation within working area. Upholding quality standards is crucial, so you will adhere to company systems, perform -process checks, and report any substandard products promptly.
Hours of Work: 45 hours per week, 06:00- 15:30, Monday to Friday, Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £13 per hour
Assembly Spray Operative Requirements:
Minimum GCSE English and Mathematics
Previous assembly and machine operation experience an advantage but not essential.
Previous experience within the Woodworking and manufactory industry is desirable but not essential.
Previous experiencing of applying sprayed finishes is desirable but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail.
Organised and clean methods of working are essential in this role as it will impact the final product quality.
