Opportunity is around the corner with Pertemps as we're seeking dedicated Assembly Operatives to join our client in Coningsby. You will be working for a market leader in their industry who specialises in manufacturing a wide range of fiberglass and carbon fibre products. This will include but not limited to boats, classic car kits, and seating for the rail and aerospace industries.
As an Assembly Operative, you will be an integral part of the production team, you could be working in a variety of departments including laminating, paint prep, finishing, quality, or infusion this will depend on your skills and experience. Your key responsibilities will involve manufacturing and assembling various fibreglass / carbon fibre products to the highest standards.
What will I be required to do?
Preparing moulds and surfaces to ensure optimal production conditions.
Mixing and applying resins and gel coats, ensuring precision and quality.
Proficiently cutting fibreglass fabrics to precise specifications.
Mastering the art of laminating, layering, and finishing composite products.
Mould preparation and de-moulding.
Assembling components as per directions and drawings.What hours will I be working?
You'll enjoy a Monday to Friday work schedule, with operating hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including a well-deserved one-hour lunch break.
How much will I be paid?
You will be paid £12.44ph any overtime hours worked beyond 40 hours per week at the rate of £15.55ph. As you progress by expanding your knowledge and skills, your hourly rate will also increase.
What skills / experience do I require?
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
An understanding of composite materials and production processes preferred
Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination to work with precision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
