Job Summary: The Electronics Group is pleased to represent our client, a pioneering company founded over 60 years ago initially focused on manufacturing heating cables for the refrigeration and electric blanket industries. Over time, they have evolved and established themselves as the world's leading manufacturer of linear detection cables and monitoring systems.

Duties:

Troubleshoot issues during functional tests on assembled units.
Organise work areas and manage inventory while adhering to ISO 9001 quality standards.
Manually assemble electronic components based on instructions, drawings, and schematics.
Use hand tools for precise placement of electronic components.
Operate automated test equipment, documenting results for analysis.
Proactively address minor problems and escalate major issues to supervisors when necessary.
Perform visual quality inspections and resolve any discovered issues.
Complete packaging tasks by assembling PCBAs into enclosures.
Create through-hole soldered connections according to quality standards.Requirements:

Proficient soldering techniques with experience in surface mount and through-hole soldering.
Knowledgeable in electronic components and basic circuitry.
Excellent hand/eye coordination with strong computer literacy skills.
Familiarity with IPC A-610 qualification is beneficial.
Ability to interpret safety rules and technical documents in English.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
A professional demeanor and courteous communication are crucial.
Preferably holds a BTEC or higher educational background in electrical/electronics.
At least 2 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.Benefits:
