Description:
We’re hiring for an Assembly Operative to join a fast-growing manufacturer based in Crawley. Working alongside the Assembly Technician staff in the production department, you will be responsible for the assembly of electrical parts and sub-assemblies for bespoke systems.

* Hours: 8:00 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday / 9:30 - 16:00 Friday

What will you be doing as an Assembly Operative?
* Assembling cable and wire looms and testing of products
* Maintaining Quality Audit procedures for equipment assembly and final testing
* Working to defined quality systems and procedures
* Reporting errors in design documentation and improving work instruction
* Maintaining and reporting stock levels to Line Manager.
* Assisting with customer support when necessary
What do you need?
* A minimum of 1 year’s electronics experience, including basic soldering
* Experience using test and assembly equipment
* An understanding of electrical and mechanical equipment
* Own transport is essential due to location
* An understanding of BOM structures to identify components
* The ability to follow assembly and test procedures
* Experience in circuit design and fault diagnosis at component level
* GCSE Math’s and English – C or above
* Any electronics qualifications would be advantageous
