Assembly Operative

Description:

T&K Associates have an opportunity for an Assembly Operative to join our Client in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis.

This position would be working for an established Company who have a friendly working environment.

Assembly Operative Job Details & Benefits;

* £12.90 per hour, increasing to £13.60 after 12 weeks

* Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-1pm

Assembly Operative Role and Responsibilities include;

* Assembling products including cabling and wiring

* Final assembly of cases (mechanical and electrical)

* Using hand tools

* Reading from a work sheet and following instructions

* Inspecting the product and carrying out safety testing

* Placing labels onto product

* Basic soldering

* All other associated tasks as required

Assembly Operative Person Specification;

* Previous experience within an assembly role is preferred however full training will be provided for the right candidate

* Ability to work alone or as part of a team

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to produce high quality work and work from drawings

* Dextrous and able to work on small products
