Assembly Fitters required, Temp to perm positions, Hourly rate £16.25 +15% shift allowance

Hours of work 6-2, 2-10, early finishes on a Friday

Great opportunity to join are Company who are extremley busy, and they are looking for skilled Fitters to join their industrial pumps and mixer business. This role involves assembling equipment in accordance with company procedures, ensuring components are fit for purpose, and conducting production tests. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to ensure an efficient build process while adhering to safety and quality specifications.

Who This Job Would Suit

This role would suit a detail-oriented individual with a mechanical engineering background, preferably with experience in industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have completed a time-served apprenticeship and possess qualifications equivalent to City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3. Candidates with HNC/HND qualifications and experience in PC pumps and wastewater products will find this role particularly rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble pump and mixer equipment according to engineering drawings and technical specifications
Fit components and modules as directed
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth build and installation processes
Conduct production tests and complete accurate test reports
Operate machinery and tools safely, producing quality-compliant products
Record all work for tracking purposes
