EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in North Nottingham, that is currently in the market for an Assembly Fitter to join their company on a Permanent basis.

Responsibilities
Due to internal changes and off the back of continued success, our client is seeking an experienced Assembly Fitter to join their growing team.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Working with various materials using a variety of techniques such as deburring, pot riveting, countersinking, manual drilling, and bench work using jigs and fixtures to build and fit complex parts
* Using a variety of power and pneumatic tools such as grinders, cutters, drills, saws, and torque wrenches to assemble parts
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
* Previous assembly/fitting experience in precision engineering
* Aerospace Experience would be desirable
* Previous background of working with small to medium-sized precision components for high-profile industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, etc
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Able to use handheld, power, and pneumatic tools, such as; grinders, cutters, drills, saws, torque wrenches, etc
* Experience in welding, deburring, pot riveting, countersinking, manual drilling, and bench work using jigs and fixtures
* Previous experience with CNC Machining would also be advantageous
