Assembler – Braintree – Full Time – £12.71 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an Assembler to join a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Braintree. This is a full-time opportunity paying £12.71 per hour, assembling small components in a technical manufacturing environment.

This role would suit someone with good practical skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical drawings and written instructions. A full UK driving licence and access to transport are essential due to the rural location.

About the Role

As an Assembler, you will assemble small components accurately using technical drawings, work instructions and a range of small hand and power tools. You will play an important part in ensuring products are assembled correctly and meet the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assembling small components and parts accurately

Following technical drawings and written work instructions

Using small hand tools, power tools and Allen keys

Checking components during assembly to ensure quality

Identifying and reporting any faults or discrepancies

Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working area

Following production procedures and health and safety requirements

The Ideal Candidate

Previous assembly or practical hands-on experience is beneficial

Able to read and follow technical drawings and written instructions

Confident using small hand tools and power tools

Good attention to detail and manual dexterity

Reliable, methodical and willing to learn

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Full UK driving licence and own transport essential due to the rural location
