We are recruiting for a dedicated Mechanical Fitter / Assembler to join a premier engineering company near Tewkesbury. This workshop-based role focuses entirely on hands-on mechanical fabrication and precision assembly.

Key Mechanical Responsibilities

* Precision Assembly: Build, fit, and assemble complex mechanical components from engineering drawings.

* Tool Proficiency: Utilize a wide range of mechanical hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.

* Fabrication & Fitting: Align parts, drill, tap, and fabricate elements to ensure perfect mechanical alignment.

* Quality Assurance: Inspect finished builds to guarantee high-quality structural and mechanical integrity.

Requirements

* Proven experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, or manufacturing.

* Strong ability to work independently with basic hand and power tools.

* Solid understanding of mechanical components and assembly sequences.

* Reliable work ethic suited for a busy production environment.
