£12.71 – £14.24 per hour
Full-Time | Temp to Perm Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Lye. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with assembly or production experience who is looking for long-term work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
Working as part of the Flexi Team, you will be responsible for assembling and manufacturing components to a high standard, following technical drawings and customer specifications.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
30-minute lunch break
Early finish every Friday
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical assembly of components and products
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Packing completed products ready for dispatch
Following standard operating procedures and technical instructions
Reporting tooling, equipment, or manufacturing issues to management
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Supporting other departments when required
What We’re Looking For
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience
Confidence using hand and power tools
Good attention to detail and quality awareness
Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Good communication and time management skills
Electrical assembly experience is advantageous but not essential
