Aspiring Psychologist - Slough
If you are a psychology graduate and are looking to make a difference in the lives of vulnerbale children who struggle with learning difficulties, then this just might be the perfect opportunity for you!
Your role will be pivotal in providing support for students who struggle with learning needs and difficulties.
Your key responsibilities as a SEN Support Worker will be something like:
Facilitating therapeutic techniques with the students
Ensuring the classroom is a safe and engaging learning environment
Track and keep score of students' progress
Manage classroom behavior - with the support of the class teacher
Encourage the children to achieve their bestThe successful SEN Support worker:
The successful SEN Support Worker will be an individual who is calm, works well under pressure and has a positive and encouraging personality.
You will ideally have some experience working with children but most of all be eager to learn.
Experience working with children who have additional needs will be advantageous, but this is not essential.
