ASD Teaching Assistant
Working hours: 8:30am–3:30pm
Transparency Education is seeking a patient, enthusiastic ASD Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming special school for pupils aged 2–19. The school supports children and young people with autism alongside a wider range of needs, including moderate, severe, and profound and multiple learning difficulties. It provides a caring environment where pupils can learn and develop at their own pace.
You will support pupils with autism, adapting your approach to their individual communication, social interaction and sensory needs. Working closely with teachers, you will help pupils engage in lessons, manage daily routines and develop confidence and independence. A calm, consistent approach and the ability to build trusting relationships are essential
