Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Analyst

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor Analyst to support a busy and expanding workload across Basildon and the wider Essex region.

The Role

Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264

Undertaking air monitoring, including four-stage clearances and reoccupation certification

Carrying out reassurance, leak, background, and personal air testing where required

Conducting bulk sampling and ensuring correct procedures are followed

Producing accurate and compliant survey and analytical reports in accordance with HSG264 and HSG248

Working across commercial, domestic, and public sector properties

Managing your workload efficiently across multiple sites

Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams

Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, and compliance

About You

BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)

Previous experience working in an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst or dual role

Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation

Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable

Full UK driving licence

Strong communication and report-writing skills

Ability to manage your own workload independently

Professional, organised, and reliable approach to work
