Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £27k - £42k + Training & Benefits
A UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is recruiting in the Midlands for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor. They are seeking someone with a good track record of conducting full asbestos surveys across domestic and local authority premises, who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will be confident in communicating technical matters directly to clients and will be well versed in HSG 264 guidelines. Experience / Qualifications:
* Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited company
* Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH Level 3 in Surveying
* Fully conversant in HSG 264 guidelines
* Confident working independently on site
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
* Strong communicator
The Role:
* Conducting thorough management, demolition and refurbishment asbestos surveys
* Collecting ACM samples from site
* Delivering samples to the lab for analysis
* Collating findings to produce detailed technical reports
* Providing direct advice to clients and answering technical queries
* Adhering to safety guidelines
* Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
* Keeping up-to-date with any legislation changes
