Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £36k + Training + Benefits

Our client is an independent and privately owned Asbestos Consultancy who are currently looking to recruit a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor in the North East region. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out the full range of surveying duties across Commercial, Industrial, and Domestic sites. The successful candidate must have extensive experience working as a surveyor for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy. For the successful candidate, our client can offer training into further P Cert modules, cross training into other environmental sectors, excellent holiday allowance and company pension scheme.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: South Shields, Tynemouth, Peterlee, Hartlepool, Redcar, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Barnard Castle, Durham, Consett, Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, Hexham, Morpeth, Ashington.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent qualification is essential to the role.
" Extensive hands-on experience working for a reputable Asbestos Consultancy.
" In-depth knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
" Comfortable using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Able to work to strict deadlines.
" Excellent communication skills.

The Role:
" Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Conducting re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Ensuring work adheres to HSG 264 guidelines.
" Carrying out sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to bag and label correctly prior to sending for analysis.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports based on site findings.
" Liaising with clients providing excellent consultancy advice.
