Careermakers are currently looking for an experienced Asbestos Removal Superviosr to work across the North West Region
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Asbestos Removal Supervisor to lead our hazardous materials abatement projects. This pivotal role involves overseeing asbestos removal operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing a team of technicians to deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities, supervising experience, and familiarity with project planning tools such as Primavera P6. Duties
* Supervise daily asbestos removal activities, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory standards.
* Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to ensure timely completion.
* Lead and manage a team of asbestos removal technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
* Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
* Develop and implement work plans, risk assessments, and safety procedures specific to asbestos abatement projects.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to facilitate project progress and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
* Monitor project budgets and resources, optimizing workflows for maximum productivity.
* Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, safety incidents, and compliance reports for audit purposes.
Experience
* Proven supervising experience in asbestos removal or hazardous materials management.
* Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
* Familiarity with Primavera P6 or comparable project scheduling tools.
* Knowledge of asbestos regulations, safety standards, and environmental health practices.
* Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute complex projects within strict timelines.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
* Relevant certifications in asbestos abatement or environmental safety are preferred.
