The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for Asbestos Removal Operatives to join a growing and well-established asbestos removal contractor delivering projects across the UK.

The Role

As an Asbestos Removal Operative, you will be responsible for the safe removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials in accordance with current legislation, company procedures and health and safety standards.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out licensed asbestos removal works on a range of projects

• Working safely within controlled environments and enclosures

• Following site-specific risk assessments and method statements

• Using specialist equipment and PPE correctly

• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance

• Working effectively as part of a team on projects throughout the UK

• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest professional standards

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you should hold:

• CSCS Card

• Licensed Asbestos Removal Training

• Face Fit Certificate and Medical

• Manual Handling Training

• Abrasive Wheels Training

• Working at Height Training

In addition, successful candidates will demonstrate:

• A strong commitment to health and safety

• Reliability and a positive work ethic

• The ability to work as part of a close-knit team

• Flexibility to travel and work on projects nationwide when required

• Excellent attention to detail and professionalism
