Asbestos Analyst
Location: London, M25 & South East
Rate: £250-£300 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Contract-to-Permanent
Astute People are recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Analyst to join an established, independent asbestos consultancy with a strong and ongoing workload across London, the M25 and wider South East.
This is an opportunity to join a busy team on an initial contract basis, with the potential to move permanently after approximately 3 months if it's the right fit for both you and the business.
The Role
As an Asbestos Analyst, you'll be predominantly field-based, working across a mixture of commercial and domestic properties.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out air monitoring and fibre monitoring
Undertaking 4-stage clearance testing
Producing accurate reports using tablet/handheld technology
Working in accordance with UKAS requirements, legislation and company procedures
Maintaining strong client relationships
Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard
Working across a varied and busy project portfolio
About You
To be considered, you'll need:
P403 & P404 or RSPH equivalent qualifications
Relevant asbestos analysis experience
Experience with air monitoring and 4-stage clearances
Full UK driving licence
Good understanding of UKAS requirements and asbestos legislation
Strong health & safety awareness
Good communication and client-facing skills
A thorough and diligent approach to your work
Flexibility to undertake night work, overtime and weekend rota when required
Dual-qualified Surveyor/Analysts are particularly welcome.
