Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Art Teacher with graphics experience to join our team on a temporary basis from September to December. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for art and encouraging artistic expression and technical skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality art lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student creativity and confidence.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Organize and manage classroom resources and art materials effectively.
Prepare students for internal and external assessments.
Participate in school events, exhibitions, and extracurricular activities related to the art department.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the art curriculum.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Proven experience teaching art at the secondary school level.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Art and Design.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
