Art Teacher & General Cover - Widnes - September 2026
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Widnes from September 2026.
This is a full-time teaching position for at least one term, combining the teaching of Art with general classroom cover where required. It is an excellent opportunity for a flexible and adaptable teacher who enjoys working across a variety of subjects while maintaining a specialism in Art.

The successful Art Teacher will primarily teach Art across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, alongside delivering planned lessons across other curriculum areas during periods of general cover.
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Art within a UK secondary school
Be confident teaching Art at KS3 and KS4
Be comfortable delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects when required
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and adaptability
Be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
The role offers:
September 2026 start
Full-time position
Minimum one-term assignment
Daily pay from £168.80 to £232.56, depending on experience and teacher pay scale
