Roles as Responsibilities of an Art Teacher

A teacher of art and design is someone who promotes the value and development of creativity and imagination in his or her pupils. You will be responsible for teaching students' practical skills so that they can express themselves by creating their own art in a variety of forms including painting, drawing, sculpture, digital design, photography, and textiles as an Art Teacher. It is expected that you will be teaching students with a range of abilities within your role as an Art teacher, and in some cases, you will be preparing students to sit GCSEs as well. As an Art Teacher, it is imperative that you teach in conjunction with the national curriculum, in addition to setting homework and assessing the progress of students.
