The Role:

As our Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality art lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, encompassing a range of techniques and mediums. From painting and drawing to sculpture and digital media, you will guide students on a journey of artistic discovery, encouraging experimentation and expression along the way.

Key Responsibilities:

- Planning and delivering inspiring art lessons that engage and challenge students

- Providing constructive feedback and support to help students develop their artistic abilities

- Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and inspired

- Organizing and overseeing art projects, exhibitions, and extracurricular activities

- Collaborating with colleagues to promote cross-curricular links and enrich the overall learning experience

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Art Education

- Proven experience teaching art across different Key Stages, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students

- A passion for art and creativity, combined with a commitment to promoting the value of the arts in education

- Dedication to safeguarding and child protection, with a willingness to undergo necessary background checks
